'Tuscan' Name Origins

So, I know the origins of the Taimar name being from the name of Martin Lilley's friend's girlfriend, Tayma.

Obviously the Greek mythology for the Chimaera and cerbera etc.

But what about 'Tuscan'? TVR were clearly fond of the name, using it in the late 60s, then in the racers, and finally with the Speed Six.

But where did the name 'Tuscan' come from? Did Martin Lilley just holiday in Tuscany backin the 60's and decide he liked the people?!
