My original cats were shot and I have removed all the material leaving me with the shells only.
I have just rebuilt the engine and its going back in, and I will need an MOT.

So will it pass with no cat material, or do the e bay cats work for the MOT, plan is to run the car with no cats when I can.

Thanks

David

Thanks and the final part was 'do the e bay cats work for the MOT'
Has anyone tried the e bay offerings at £150 each rather than 'TVR' ones at £400 each !
Outch...

Mine is a March 2001 so it just gets me into the 'approved' cats land, albeit I am sure I could stamp a number on them. Assuming I install with the number at the top how would they know anyway.
I think I may try the eBay route for the MOT

Thanks
