Anyone got recommendations for someone to refurb a std BTR diff (cone type). Mine seems to have quite a bit of lash between in and out. Symptom is a distinct clonk when applying power and esp. noticeable when on light throttle when the transmission is lightly loaded. I suppose it could also be driveshafts ?

Readman Racing. John did mine a couple of years ago. IIRC it was under £500 and been spot on ever since. I can feel the lsd working much better than before as well.
Cheers
I've got it all trussed up and ready to go to them. Can't believe how heavy it is...are there lighter alternatives or is this just the way diff are ?

Diff was turned around in 1 week...picked up, refurbed, returned in 5 days ! Great service by Grantura.
Back in the car, new CVs (they were pretty sloppy), new bushes etc. Just exhausts to go on and I can get it into the sun.
