I think its about time somebody looked at the possibilities of shoehorning an aluminium small block in to their speed six. With this engine one would get reliability, power and sound. I know the US engine is fairly big and heavy and isn't a revmeister but it will rev the bottom end out of Griff500 for all that is worth .
If it fits the chassis the swap should be fairly easy.
Imagine a 10 year old Tuscan with 100K miles on the clock and still 450BHP like the day it was built!

I wonder if TVR would sell you a Tuscan without engine and gearbox. I find mr. Wheeler extremely brave as I know the labour and the engineering hours that goes into developing an engine.
I admit the expensive BMW engine is probably better suited, all you need to find now is a totalled m-roadster with an intact driveline.
As for my beloved Chevy lump, the Cerbera is probably where it belongs, but can the chassis cope with all that torque.
