MG ZT V6,non runner,should I.......

Local car sales place sells on their part-ex's,they have a MG ZT V6 in at the minute,he said it ran when they first got it but now it wont,as I walked away he said make me an offer,I put my fingers in my ears and said la,la,la and carried on walking.
Anything obvious that could cause the non starting.
