Well, yesturday she turned 70(,000 miles). So for her birthday at the weekend I am going to remove and re laquer the carbon trim which has begun to peel in places.

Before I break anything, can anyone tell me how to safely remove the carbon trim around front pillars and rear screen??

Thanks.

This pic was taken at almost exactly 70k.. smile

Come on guys, 70,000 miles smile

Scotty believe it or not we are still waiting for that bit, seems so long ago that we saw you guys now thinking about it! She is due on Saturday. Will be another thing to love alongside the Cerb smile

Not getting out as much as I want to be honest, hope there will be enough good days left between now and the end of the year for some more of that. Saw another great pic of yours in front of some lovely looking house - you are spoilt for good photo spots up there!

Can anyone offer any suggestions on removing the trim safely? Must be a few out there who have re laquered theirs?

wow, my old cerbera from 8 years or so go!

Glad to see 'Lucky 7' is alive and well

Happy days
Vroom, you a previous owner!? Good to hear! Did you put the plate on it? How did she treat you.

She is doing very well, I try to run her once a week, got the 12k coming up at the end of the year.

Thanks 900T, I was lucky to find one in this colour, although the Cerbs like mighty fine in many others too.

Yeah I think I will try remove and re laquer, just wondered if they are clipped in or bonded?

Okay, might be more trouble to remove I suppose, thanks for that. Can always flatten orange peel effect after with a bit of wet sanding as you say.
