Got a blown gasket , I'm a mechanic anyway so I'm not worried at all. But has any one got any
Advice or knowledge or potential problems before I start ?

Hi Dave ,

I decided to keep it in the end , sadly the head gasket went on Monday , it still runs and drives but it's very steamy on bank 1

Someone went down the side of it which with the hire car costs was enough to write it off .
But never bothered me it an old car now anyway ands probably been repaired over the years anyway , so I'm just going to repair the engine and keep it coz it's mint.

That sucks! So when they build them they don't just drop the engine and transmission in together?

Bloody hell how can they f up a car that simple!
