I need some new brake pads asap for my MOT retest tomorrow morning (well I shouldn't but the MOT guy is being a bit picky). Most places can get me some for Monday and I have ordered some which "may" arrive tomorrow but I want a backup plan to be sure.

Does anyone know where I can get front brake pads for a 98 4.5 cerbera today? I have been trying most the day but can't find anywhere with stock that I can get to in a reasonable amount of time - I am based near Telford.

If I can't get through the MOT tomorrow then Burghley isn't going to happen for my Cerbera.

I would love to but red stuff will do and they are £64 for the front pads - CL are nearly £200.

EBC Brakes Redstuff Performance Brake Pads TVR Cerbera 1998 4.5 Front Pad Set - AP Calipers
EBCDP3002C £52.54 Ex

Part No: CLRC5/TF
Price: £165.94
Vat: £33.19

I am sure they are worth the money but £200 for a set of front pads is a bit too much for me.

I have a spare set of yellowstuff. I'm in Doncaster, working in Middlesbrough won't be home till late.
Thanks for the offer but Doncaster is 110 miles from me and I have to take my 8 year old son to cricket practice later this evening. I don't think he would understand if I took him to Doncaster for some brake pads instead!

I can't believe brake pads for a 4.5 Cerbera could be so rare. Most the problem seems to be nobody actually knows which pads should go in the car. I suppose that is the problem with the 4.5 using different ones form the 4.2 but then changing again to the Tuscan ones after a few years.

This, done my first 50 miles on cl WOW he was right the brakes are savage, should have got a set years ago!
Did you have a full set? Would putting these on the front and leaving ecb on the rear unsettle the braking balance too much?
