Got a misfire above 3k rpm, and on looking through the history of the car it seems it hasn't had the coil packs replaced ('96 4.2 35k).
Where's the best place to get good replacements and how much? ie not cheap copies
Cheers

Cheers Steve,
Just seen this but I've ordered them from Euro car parts. Only £82 delivered so not too bad, and Racetech have got an offer on for premium leads for £50, so again pretty reasonable.
Thanks for the offer.
I'll let you know if it cures the fault.

Just been to a local car meet and gave her a "spirited" drive home and not a sign of a misfire. I did notice the temp never got above 80 degrees and the engine was sweet as a nut!
Also when the sun is out and the outside temperature is up, the car will cut out as if the fuel is vapourising on tickover, on a hot engine.

Anyone had any experience of this?

Thanks everyone for the replies. I have ordered the coil packs and leads and will change them out in due course. It really can't be much as last night she was "awesome"!

Just a quickie for Supateg...was the fuel cooler an after market upgrade and I take it its mounted at the front of the car in the cold air flow? Also I'm presuming it fits between the fuel pump and fuel rail?
