Today I'm off to tvr ecosse to collect my new cerb !! Little boy on Christmas morning springs to mind !!!!
I've just to get on a plane to collect it as I live in the south ! Then a 500 mile drive home ! After a nights rest at the Carnoustie golf club , not that I play .

It'll be fine !?? I do have breakdown cover though and splitting the journey with a stop in Harrogate for a couple of days to see family, hopefully not to make repairs !!

I had exactly this 18 months ago, getting a plane from Brum to Aberdeen to pick mine up. We stayed at the Powfoot, was very nice!! Make sure you turn right at Cumbria and go for a rumble through the lakes, I promise that will stay with you for a very long time!!

What are you off to get?
A right turn at Cumbria you say ? I'll try and remember that,
Buying a crystal topaz cerb from Barry at Ecosse, I can't put a picture up from my phone for some reason but its still on there website

After a fantastic day with Barry from tvr Ecosse I am now the very proud owner of my cerb !!
Now having a beer at the Carnoustie golf club now before the Long drive tomorrow !!
It's great and scary to be behind the wheel again after four years and there's that lovely smell of leather /oil/petrol going on , just great !
Dinner and a good nights sleep before the journey tomorrow ! Wish me luck !!

Thanks for all the messages, I got to Harrogate fine , a great drive from the north, the weather wasn't good at first , just damp and cloudy but the sun soon shone through and my foot got a little heavier !!
Only a knocking noise from the front brake area with some juddering at braking and then my two rear exhaust mounts decided to go 10 minutes before i stopped. Luckily the local exhaust /tyre place was still open and helped me right out even though they were about to close.
All has been great today after a good wash ( it needed it !)and lots of drives for members of family.
Another night here in Harrogate then the drive home to London on Sunday and then the final trial , getting it into the garage !!
Absolutely loving it !!!!!!!!

After the final leg of my journey I am now home , the traffic was next to nothing all the way home but it was damp and drizzle most of the way
Then my last challenge , getting it into the garage ! Luckily my neighbours were out so I had a bit more space and no one to watch me turning and fitting it in, it does have the turning circle of a coach which doesn't help , but , it fits !!!!!! -
