In the middle of setting up my 4.2 and the throttle link bar is seized and now snapped. To fiddly to drill and re-tap. Anyone got a spare or know of one?

While Im at it, how do you adjust the throttle pots? I can see anyway to adjust them?

The manual says to set them between 14.8% and 15.2% on each bank initially with the idle screw right out. Mine are both exactly 12%, would someone have set them to that for a reason? Are the setting in the manual for 4.5? My engine is a 4.5 with 4.2 inlets.

I've still got my original, swapped it out for a home made one with rose joints. Yours if you need it, drop me a pm with your address.
Thanks Byker, but Power managed to find one and it's already on the way.

How about these throttle pots, do I just undo the screws a bit and move them? (doesnt look like there is any adjustment)

Also is there any reason there both bang on 12% at the moment? Just wondering if they have been set like that because of the increased capacity?

The screw holes are slightly oversize, so you just loosen them and move the body of the throttle pot. It is a very sensitive adjustment so they don't need to move much. I just loosen them enough that you can gently tap the pot into position.
Nice one thanks!

All set to finish it now :-)

Thanks, got it all sorted.

The L/H R/H threaded bit was the hardest to find. Searched eBay for an M5 turnbuckle in the end and found something thats meant for a radio controlled car's suspension. Was a little pricy £8 but did the job.

I dont think the manuals setup procedure is the easiest to follow and understand. It tells you to adjust the adaptives with the throttle pots, but the way I understand it you should adjust the throttle rod to get the air flows matched, first measure with a sycrometer, then fine tune using the adaptives figures, then set the pots to be the same. Im definitely no expert but got no where with the manual. Spoke to someone at TVR Power who very kindly explained it to me, got a lot closer now. Ones at -10 and the others at -2, so I think Im right in saying the bank reading -10 on the adaptives is getting a bit more air. I'll adjust the rod to close that a tiny bit, match the pots, reset the adpatives and I should have both close to 0. If Ive misunderstood this please correct me. Was a late night last night trying to get my head around it.
