Hi Guys

New into this forum so hi!
I have had a Griff for 5 years or so and have just acquired a knackered Cerb 4.2 for a project that needs total love and attention. Body off, respray, retrim, engine rebuild etc. I will post up pictures when I get chance.
I would appreciate some pointers please on websites, blogs, threads, manuals worth buying etc to build up some resources to help me through the project. Body off, engine out, chassis strengthening etc is what I am after.

Any recommendations?

Cheers

Ian

Thanks for the links thus far, I'm off to a start with the databasethumbup

Have tried basic searches like "Cerbera engine removal" and its not throwing up a lot TBH but its early days. If there are any more links or pointers chaps it would be appreciated.

Yep its the Matt Black Cerb with end float but its not wrapped its a paint job unfortunately. Each to their own. I will post up pictures when I can.

Yep I am going to be busy, I have a lot planned but no rush as yet as my Griff is playing up at the minute. Whilst obviously I am planning to save her its not going to be original sorry - LS7 beckonsgetmecoat

Thanks for all the pointers to resources guys, very helpful and keep them coming.

As promised some pictures for you but don't get too excited, nothing to drool over.

Described as "not a thing of beauty" and no it has not been wrapped, that's the paint job:

Plenty of clocks (haven't checked the wiring) and a steering wheel that may need some attention!!

A close up of the paint which is like sandpaper to the touch and has like a white metallic pigment to it (may be something to do with reflecting infra red?)

An engine bay not quite to die for still with the run off of rubbing down the red paint by the looks of it:

Apparently its a non runner with crank end float but I have not tried it. Under a cover now until I have time to do anything with it but the plan is a full chassis up restore and either LS7 or 4.7 AJP (I need to do a bit more research).

Cheers
