T540VHO Back at Willow

Well Spring is nearly here time to dust her off after hibernation, dropped her into Willow for service and MOT, she's done a whopping 800 miles since Nov 13 and a few of those have literally been spins on the drive.
I knew when I got the chassis done with all the other stuff I'd be slightly paranoid about getting the underside dirty, but Christ I have developed full on crazy OCD.
Drove down the road by RAF Waddington in the dry recently forgot about the quarry and trucks and mud, found myself turning round and going back just to keep clean.
I need to be in a beat up Cerbera I don't care about.
Lots going on at the moment work, house, eldest going to uni, car may have to go just to clear my conscience, Easter is coming up don't be surprised if a another cherished speed6 pops on the market.
Would like to get to Burghley being so close, can't stop saying Beaulieu though blithering idiot.
Anyhow not getting out much does take you by surprise when you put yer foot down,
Did think shan't do that again only to smile and floor it.
God they are awesome, to all those dusting off for the spring, here's to cheap bills and many happy miles through the summer.

Gents I understand what your saying, I use to own a 69 élan +2 up until the chassis went 3 years ago and that was my daily driver, in all weathers, all year round.
I got the Cerbera as I always wanted another TVR, ran it all over for the first year, was doing 180 skids in the snow at 3mph and everything.
But having got the chassis and all the underside better than new, gleaming white powder coat etc, I just feel that taking her out in all conditions, makes me feel the same as if the mother in law had took a giant dump in the middle of my new front room carpet. Confused ,frustrated and annoyed.
I'm not a track day person, but I don't sit in the garage polishing and detailing either, I just don't use her so I think she might have to go, so I can buy a knackered old pick up truck.
My TVR itch will probably have to be scratched again in a few years time until then hope I win lottery then I can keep her in storage.

Thanks for the offer of going to Cadwell park, haven't been there since I was a kid. Definitely trying to plan Burghley into the diary, be nice to see what's going on in the TVR world.
Got the car back from Willow on Wednesday, car passed MOT no problem, it definitely helps having a reliable friendly service centre who know the car inside out. Takes all the hassle out of it.
Must say though, Nicks got the car humming a new tune alright, popping and banging all the way home, bloody fantastic.
See you all at Burghley, not gonna make the Saturday ride out unfortunately have fun, pray for good weather,
