Trackday Tyres
Discussion
As I have ruined my nearly new Eagle F1's by letting the car stand on them for too long over the winter, I am now looking for more tyres.
I'm tempted to get some track-day tyres (Nankang NS-2R are looking favourite), but you can't get them in the standard front size, 225/35 R18.
Are there any issues with fitting 225/40 R18 instead, has anyone experience of doing this?

Oh well, ordered the Nangkangs, went to get them fitted this morning and......the damn fronts don't fit
Do to the slightly increased profile, they foul the front edge of the sill with very little lock applied so basically a none starter.
I don't think I'd get away with 235/35 R18 either, so unless I want the hastle of tracking down a set of 17" wheels, plus having to store them when not in use, trackday tyres are a no go.
Just going to wear out my oval tyres and get another set of F1's I suppose.
