Is it me or are there quite a few cheap Cerberas on the net at the moment. I thought I had bought probably the cheapest around Cerbera around but know the seem to be breading. I'm very happy with but it's always the case, when you want there's none and when you don't....

There are a couple on eBay for around 10-11k. I managed to get mine nice and cheap, it's got a good chassis and a recent engine rebuild, it does need some TLC though. Good ones seem to start at 15k upwards but if you are willing to spend a bit of time and money you can end up with a nice one. I'm thinking 2 to 3k on respray, 1k on interior and 500 for three and wheels powder coast. I didn't have 15k all at once so this was the only way I could own a Cerbera. It's the most exciting car I've ever owned and it makes me grin every time I drive it.

6k for a full respray seems like alot, but it may well depend on where you are in the country. I've heard that S&D in Blackpool do show car standard work and they are roughly 4k, but there are other places local that will do a real nice job from 2k if you are gonna stick with the same colour.
My local powder coater will blast, zinc coat and powder coat at £40 a wheel, nice job too.
As for the interior, I need new headliner, new carpets and all the alcantara bits including door cards etc. DC trimmers quoted around £1250 which I think is very reasonable but seeing how easy the interior comes apart I'm gonna tackle the carpets etc myself.
Don't get me wrong, if I had the money I would pay someone to take it away and do the lot, some of the cars on this forum are stunning but way out of my league. Mine is gonna be a long term project as and when I have the cash.

Why are they being so secretive about their plans? In my experience the only people who are interested in TVRs are the owners. Don't get me wrong, every man and his dog loves to look and listen to them but actually own one, no. So why not release some info and keep everyone interested, makes me think they don't have much to tell us about.
