Sod it, I've had it.
I've been trying to get my plate for 18 months now. banghead
Went to the MOT again today to get my european COC
and they sent me walking again because they want a piece of paper that doesn't exist...
So they suggested I park it in the garden and put some flowers in it furious

So I'm going to register it back in England.
Saves me a few quid in taxes as well smile

any recommendations on insurance companies? smile

Have a chat with the guys at Passion in Mouscron first, they are experienced at getting cars registered and now have Official Dealer status.
Yes i know them Paul. But i don't know if they can just write a valid piece of paper.
And then be accepted by the dvla.
And after that i still have 2 mot's to go, each €112...
I've currently spent over €400 on Mot's...
I'm not going to beg them so I can please pay 2,5k taxes a year. And another 700 to register it.

I'd rather spend it on the car smile

I have an address in the uk so it shouldn't be too hard.
Fernhurst is going to import her back into the UK and give her a 12k service smile

Can't you get a COC through Marc Minne from formerly MF Cars? Understand he's still able to make Belgium COC's? European COC is not accepted apparently.
Mark minne has quit tvr and moved to France.

Nils, phone Pascal@Passion to get you a coc thru Marc Minne, he does live in France but does still own the importership and should be able to get you a coc and typeplate

good luck,

Frank
Hi frank!
I know Passion would probably get it fixed, but at what cost and it would take another few months.
Frankly, im fed up with belgian bureaucrates.
Ive already retrieved my documents so I think my mind is made up. smile
