Hi there, does anyone have any information on the green project Cerb currently on eBay?

Apparently it's MOT'd and taxed according to DVLA website which I'm not sure how considering the lack of interior or having not moved in years.

Cheers

Oh I'm under no illusion that it will take a hell of a lot of work and money too.

I will hopefully be able to do a lot of it myself and I have a pretty clear plan about what I want to do to it and how the finished article will look like. Yeah I'll need to have some specialist help so Barry at Ecosse may hate me by the end of it.

I'll see what I can find out about it and see what price I can get it for then decide whether to go for it.

That's good advice cheers.

I know the paint I want, spectraflair black.
I know the interior colour scheme I'm looking for, just need to decide on material.
Who knows what the engine and electrics will be like, suppose the one good thing is its in bits so easy access.
Chassis, we'll never know until you see it but potentially body off? Again it's in bits so shouldn't be too difficult to get rest apart.
Body wise, tidy up, I prefer the speed 6 lights so factor that in.

Wow this could cost a lot.

To be fair if I bought a car on the market that was road worthy, I'd want to do a lot of the above to it anyway so I suppose if I look at it as a smaller initial outlay, it makes perfect sense!

I've spoken to the owner of that car and it's still a possibility.

You're right in what you say and because it's in one piece, I could potentially use it but I'd probably have it straight off the road and begin the work straight away.

I suppose it's also easier putting something back together if you took it apart yourself initially. With the green one, I'd be playing the which bit goes where game for much longer.

Cost control is obviously a big factor, I don't have an unlimited budget like some people but in the same breath, I know it's going to take a decent amount and don't want to cut corners.

As for resale, yeah if an emergency occurs halfway through the project it could be a possibility but I'm building a keeper, not something to play with for a few years.

Well it's sold, anybody on here buy it?

I now know what people say about dealing with the company that sold it.
