As a new Cerb owner I am keen to start compiling a list of equivalent part numbers. I know the Cerbera is the first TVR to run an in-house manufactured engine, but there must have been a fair bit of parts bin raiding, especially the more mundane consumable items, like filters, belts, bulbs etc. I have done a search but have not come up with much so not sure if anyone has done this before?

In fact does anyone know any part numbers for the belts on early 4.2 fitted with aircon, TVR and any alternative manufatureres part nos?

See list so far at:

Possibly the most important thread since jools et al took a pair of scissors to the inlet trumpets, or Mark decided lucas was a bit weedy.

But I fear people run out of puff with this sort of thread. I've seen a few start but they don't seem to go far.

Point taken Julian, I'm willing to tabulate whatever people can come up with, even if its not much, anything you can source from Halfords or your local high street accessory shop has got to save a few bob and inconvenience in the long run!
For example, I could have sworn someone figured out the make and equivalent part number for the infamous starter motor, someone else in Australia was of the opinion that the AP clutch plate is same as C5 Corvette, these are gems worth knowing!

Chaps, excellent response so far.
Ted, would it be ok to make this a sticky so people can add to this as, and when. As soon as I get back from Le Mans I (or anyone else who fancies it) can start putting the info in and html table that can be accessible via a link.

Well done Olly, you beat me to it! If you dont mind hosting it and updating it as we get more part numbers then great. I will put your link in my opening message of this thread so it appears at the top.

Olly, I think you should get this on your table, especially as the man has done the hard grunt and found the right starter motor, fitted it and it works, tried and tested so to speak!

Guys, I want to put this on Part Number thread.

So just to confirm I have read this correctly:

The part number is PTC 130/30 (is that original part number?)

RS stock number is 455-3744

This gives you the contact options of NC or NO, cerbera needs NC so discard NO.

brown wire = nc
green = no
white = common
