There are threads running for Best Tuscan and Best Sagaris so....

A PH'er took this photo of my 4.5 at Diamond Rock, probably my favourite ever shot of the 4.5 (I've only had the car nearly 10 years...).

Thanks to the mystery snapper! bow

I've waited a long time for this... a trackday photographer catching II 2ERO drifting...

* Note passenger Lucy taking in-car photo... hehe

The only corner at Donington where I knew a photographer was lurking this weekend was the chicane before the pit straight. It's a right then left so the trick would be to use the drift and opposite-lock to set the car up for the apex of the left-hander and a transition to oversteer in the other direction out on to the pit straight. This snap shows the approach to left-hander's apex...

* The in-car shot...

We like that yes

Boss, I saw the "after" picture of it in the pits, concerning or did it just have a *really* hard time out there and was a little over-filled?
Couple of things...
- oil cap came off and made a mess... the engine was overfilled anyway for the long left-hander, so it never ran low... I just came in, cleaned it up, retrieved the oil cap from down the side of the radiator, checked the oil and went back out
- the big brake before the chicane fires excess oil into the intake. It only starts to drip out when I stop.

No harm done. smile

Yep thats me smile

I thought the engine was about to let go as all of a sudden loads of oil and smoke came shooting out of the right hand exhaust.... but car was still going very well. Really impressed me smile
paperbag Bloody oil filler cap worked loose and came off then dowsed the engine with oil. irked No harm done that a load of paper towels (at the circuit) and a later jetwash couldn't fix. On the upside, the engine's now cleaner than it's been in ages! hehe

Was a good day - you were going at a pace too. smile

Hi Phil

Thats the 2nd time isn't it. You are going to have to do it up tighter. biggrin
4th time... banghead

Going to have to lockwire it or something at this rate. Don't know why it does it - I've ended up so paranoid about it, it's ALWAYS checked as tight. Still works its way out sometimes. irked

Mine always worked loose also, until it was changed.
idea I wonder if the old one was over-tightened and caused a hairline crack or fatigue in the filler neck?
And maybe this is why the new one comes off? scratchchin

I've just found these pictures on my computer that I took a year or two ago, not the greatest picture quality but I love the colour of this car. I've got no idea whose it is either I just spotted it whilst heading into town one day and I've never seen it since.

It's Imperial Blue
