want a cerb' HELP

hi folks i'm looking to buy a cerb' in the very near future (when my divorce comes through, far better than having a wife i rekon!) i'm looking to spend around the 20K mark give or take a few. interested in the 4.5. can anyone give me some good advice on what to look out for! so that i don't end up with a nail. cheers.
