Alarm Fob Programming

Hi guys,

Sure this is an easy one. Can some one let me know the process for re-coding the key fobs for my Cerb please.

I have the plug in key, and a working fob, but need to program an addition fob. I am hoping it is something similar to the lotus, with the master key plugged in, a couple of flicks of the ignition and pressing the fob buttons in a certain order ... I simple job to be done in the garage on this Wet Sunday afternoon !!

The alarm did seem to go into a different mode after about 8 or 9 sets / resets, but the new alarm fob did not code in, and after about 8 seconds, the original fob worked again ..

I guess I need the help of the expert refered to on here before - is it Carl ?? Any one post his details please ??

A bit more surfing and I have found other threads on the same subject - and similar procedures put forward as the answer, however, I have also noticed that , like a similar thread, my newly acquired (second hand) Key fob has TVR the other way around on the fob button ... does this mean it is for a different TVR with a slightly different system - hence why I can not code it to my car ??

Thanks Davidd - Now I just think it is me just too dam stupid to follow simple instructions !!

Off back to play with my Lego now instead !!
