Maserati boomerang lights

Just a quick question.. Could the gorgeous boomerang lights from the first incarnation of the coupe be retro fitted to the later version? I presume Maserati must keep a few spare sets of them kicking around for existing owners.

Well I guess nothing is impossible, but £10k to do it! I was kinda hoping it would just be a straight forward swap-over job, but then if it was everyone would do it, over here at least! Out of curiosity, if they canned the lights due to US safety legislation how do the converted cars fair when it comes to MOT time?
