I will be dragging myself along to Battersea for this sale, it looks like they have some interesting cars going across the block, here is a quick selection that might prick the interest of those on here:

First a 2008 Koenigsegg CCX with only 1700 miles on the clock. It’s got a good spec and nice colour combo, but the instrumentation could do with updating to the Chrono Pack. No idea of the reserve, but I think if RM are sensible this could be a very good buy. It could also set the market value in the UK.

A matching numbers Lamborghini Miura 400S looks interesting (If only I could fit in one frown)

http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode...

Matching numbers 1970 Maserati Ghibli Spyder, this would make a very cool car for running down to the south of France, has all the desirable options

http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode...

2005 Maserati MC12 might excite some on here, personally I am not a fan, they are just way too big to be a capable car in the UK

http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode...

Now personally this car would be my pick of the auction, a 1959 Ferrari 250 LWB Berlinetta Tour De France. I just love TDF's, especially the singe vent models. This one has a great racing history and is beautifully presented. The only flaw for me personally is that it does not have the covered head lights but I could live with that. Price wise I would guess £2.1 to £2.5 million. I just love it cloud9

I have just looked at the digital catalogue and it has price estimates and it makes for interesting reading. I have updated my original post:

First a 2008 Koenigsegg CCX with only 1700 miles on the clock. It’s got a good spec and nice colour combo, but the instrumentation could do with updating to the Chrono Pack. Estimate £235k - £285K eek Now that looks very cheap and good value

A matching numbers Lamborghini Miura 400S looks interesting (If only I could fit in one frown) Estimate £320K - £360K

http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode...

Matching numbers 1970 Maserati Ghibli Spyder, this would make a very cool car for running down to the south of France, has all the desirable options. Estimate £230k - £250K

http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode...

2005 Maserati MC12 might excite some on here, personally I am not a fan, they are just way too big to be a capable car in the UK. Estimate £680K - £780K

http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode...

I just love it cloud9 Estimate £1.8M - £2.5M

Streetrod, have you seen the 250 LWB TDF on dk's web site?
Yep, looks very original and has a good history, it’s a shame it was converted from a closed headlight to an open headlight model. If I was being honest its not my favorite colour combination. I have no idea what price they are looking for..

If I had the choice I would love this car from the Patterson Collection, just listen to that exhaust

The TDF seems like a bargain. £1.75m
That was very cheap compared to recent TDF sales, I suspect its decause it was not one of the closed headlamp models

That GT2 went for good money at £290K. Never realised they were worth that much

What was your reserve? smile
I dont know what the reserve was but the estimate was £680K to £780k and I was certain is was not going to make that money. I just dont think they are regarded highly enought to be worth that. Also if you have ever seen one in real life you will realise they are massive, it would be a huge pain to drive at any kind of decent speed

Was that the gt2 from the Harrison Porsche collection?
Not sure, I think it came from a Swiss owner, very nice car, will be worth I suspect £50K more in a year

That DB5 looked lovely lick
Totally agree, great car.

The EGG CCX is coming up, estimate is £235K to £285K which sounds like a bargain to me at the mid range price considering it would have cost north of £750K when new

Wow!!! that was cheap, that does not bode well for future Egg values when a CCX with only 1700 miles can go for £220k + commision
