Trickle Charger Ferrari 360 problem

I bought a genuine Ferrari trickle charger a few months back, ready for the first winter months with my F1 360.
Today, I went to connect it for the first time and there doesn't appear to be anywhere to plug in the circular connection ?
From what I have read, and in the diagram in the crappy manual, it shows that you need to remove the cover underneath the hood (by the windscreen) and there is a connector where you plug it straight in.
I removed my cover and there is nowhere for me to plug it in ? picture as follows :
Anyone got any advice / ideas for me please ?
