The Best Video on YouTube... Ever: Enzo WRC

I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking this is absolutely nuts:

1 million hits by tomorrow?

I'd never buy a car from him
Someone bought a £20.2m car from them! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/news/9063881/F...greggy50 said:

I understand that John Hunt owns these cars but is it not his kids that are seen regularly abusing them. If fact they have their own channel on YouTube, check it out here:

There is a lot of mystery about it, but I'd be willing to put money that it's Harry Hunt driving the Enzo, it's some pretty impressive car control.http://www.youtube.com/user/OuncesofAwesome12?feat...

Shmee.. get on the phone, do a deal, get the vids on your site and share the fruits. Peasy money.
I contacted them 12 months ago to ask if they wanted to do anything, obviously long before either of the 2 recent virals. I made the assumption the channel was run by Harry, the rally driving son of Jon Hunt, and perhaps a bit nosily asked about the cars, here's the reply I got:TaxTheRich said:
Unfortunately my name is not Harry, my name is ---- ----- and more worryingly is the fact that you have associated me with Jon Hunt. If you release anymore personal information into the public domain the videos will be taken down.
I ask that you leave the investigative journalism to one side. The videos I produce are for fun. If you want to contact me before using one of my videos or have an idea for a video then please feel free to contact me.
Articles about cars do not need the attachment or inclusion of suspected owners to do well. At the end of the day I kindly ask you to respect our privacy.
It wasn't what I expected, I thought if they were trying to make viral videos then the attention is exactly what they were after, bit odd really.I ask that you leave the investigative journalism to one side. Wanting to share cars but retain privacy is a noble objective. He's being polite and clear, which makes it all pretty easy.
Enjoy the cars.
I fundamentally disagree with you, if either you or I wanted to remain private we most certainly would not be uploading videos such as the Rolls Royce Rally Car and Enzo WRC. You would still film them if you wanted to but the major difference is that they wouldn't end up online for all to see.Enjoy the cars.
Their reference to him being unhappy about the association was from me posting their 250 GTO video and saying who's it was, owners of those exclusive cars are pretty well documented online. At the time I was completely taken by surprise by their response because my initial message had expressed interest at joining forces to make videos!

Some people manage it - Flemke is one notable example. Probably one of the best know F1s out there, but the identity of the owner is not common knowledge.
It is true, I am one of the lucky few to have ridden shotgun in his fabulous car, but I suppose the difference is that he hasn't posted videos all over the internet driving like a buffoon! The way he has distributed content, including my video with 40,000 views is much more civilised and means he can retain his privacy.Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
