I've put my name down for one this afternoon - loved the GT but never owned one before.

I think this one looks incredible...I couldn't resist!

Plus the wife loves it so I'm not in the dog house which is always a result!

No tip off - just went off the photos today the reputation of the previous one.

It's the first car in a long time that's made me think 'wow'. I'm in love!

That looks very purposeful. When can you expect delivery?
To be honest the dealer had very little information - which I guess is to be expected.

Hopefully I will receive more information in due course though - and I will share on here once I do.

As well as or instead of Koenigsegg ?
It is a stunning piece of design congrats.
Possibly as well if I decide to sell the F40. Just need to decide what to do with her...it's a harder decision than I thought.

I will see how the year goes then make my mind up!

How would you go about ordering one? Did you just go down to your local Ford dealer?
Just rang up a dealer near my home town - they haven't taken a deposit or anything yet but confirmed my name is on 'the list'.

It might be worth filling in the "keep me informed" page on the Ford website (there is an option you can tick for the "All-New Ford GT"):

http://www.ford.co.uk/SBE/KeepMeInformed

Bit more info here:

Thanks for that - will do this as well just incase the dealer messes up or loses the list (as happened when I first put an order down for my R35!).

No doubt the wing mirrors will grow considerably as those small ones don't pass the EU safety regs.

We will have to wait and see - if it is...then so be it. I was hoping it would be 150-200k but will just grit my teeth if it is nearer 300k. I can't not have one in the garage! hehe

Does look the business ! Would I spend that much money on a Ford ?????? It would have to be significantly better than more established supercar brands and even then you are always going to get the idiots that say nice Ford mate.
Personally, I couldn't care less what badge it has on. Not that there is anything wrong with Ford - the GT40 is one of the most iconic supercars of all time.

As with everything in life, you just have to ignore the idiots wink

Clarkson in The Times today said circa £180k...I'm assuming he has a reliable source.

Good news for us if he is right!

Not sure I could get on with LHD though, anyone experience of LHD in the UK?
It can be a bit of a pain - but you get used to it...and as soon as you cross the channel you are glad you have it!

It does help if you have a friend in the passenger seat who can tell you when you can overtake when you go out for a hoon.

I guess it will just result in more Europe trips for me. biggrin

Anyone heard anything else regarding their 'order'?

All seems to have gone a bit quiet for me...unfortunately, I can see a 991 GT3RS/GT4 scenario on our hands with such limited production numbers. frown

I think knowing what we know now it is going to be 300-350k in the UK...more than we originally thought but c'est la vie. Just praying the dealer can actually deliver me one! biggrin
