Was at Oulton Park yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the day
Must have been over 50 Ferrari's many Lamborghini's as well as Aston's and other interesting cars
As the owners were getting in to their cars to head home i was rather surprised when i overheard what was being said behind me by one woman sharing her thoughts to her friend, she said the following "shame the Ferrari and Lamborghini drivers are all fat and ugly with no hair and too old, where are all the young drivers,Aston drivers think they're all James Bond what a joke"
I turned around and said "well thats the closest you women well get to a supercar, didn't realise you had to meet a certain criteria to drive a supercar" and walked away from them!!
Just goes to show how envious some people are!!

My SV generated a lot of attention form both young and old, male and females who were well behaved
One mother was taking photos of her sons (7/8 years of age)who stood next to my car and clearly mesmerised.I was so impressed how well they were behaved i let them sit in my car.The mother and both her sons were pleasantly surprised and thanked me
Cant say i had any member of the public being disrespectful or misbehaving near my car :-)
Thankfully i have a full head of hair not too old and keep myself in shape (hope i did get called as i set off home lol )

Well if we (supercar owners) are too fat then its a good job supercar manufactures dont restrict their cars as to who can drive them rather like fashion house designers who will only go to a certain size!!

Slightly off topic, say if you were overweight and went on a track would that cause issues with handling??

Just had my first bit of hate in the 650S.

Came out of the gym and noticed a load of gunk on the car, 5 big splodges across the bonnet and then loads had run down the side and dried, looked like someone had thrown one of them yoghurt pots at it.
Pretty sure it didn't happen in the gym as it is a private car park but just before that I had left it for 10 minutes in a retail park in Basildon while I went in a shop.

Came off with a bit of care, no harm done.

I still have the car, they don't have their yoghurt!
Yes you still have the car something they will never have
enjoy :-)

I can't believe the responses from you guys! I'm sure the guy does have his own side to the story. Regardless of that, his manner was ridiculous and the language he used totally absurd given the situation. So ultimately does it really matter? I was actually quite shocked by the encounter and simply posted for perhaps a little empathy from understanding PHers who may have experienced similar such things. It really is as simple as that.

If in another thread my attacker were to post about some 'jumped up good for nothing yuppie wannabe weapons grade tool' almost driving into the side of him (and on a straight road no less!), I'd be more than happy to take his word for it and assure him it's all going to be OK.
I bet you wished you had not botherd mentioning your experience!
There's nowt so queer as folk!!
