Just wondering if any of your have parked your Pride and Joy in the Terminal 5 NCP car park at Heathrow airport, or if anyone had any experiences of parking anything there.

I'm off to the Ferrari factory next month so will only be left there 1 night. I don't fancy handing over the keys to someone to go park my car on a street corner or rag the st out of it. Last time I used a valet park at an airport my car packed in on the way home (May have been coincidence but who knows)

Cheers
Jonty

Yeah, have heard too many horror stories about the valet parking services. Also had a bad experience where we used one (just with a fiesta) and the car broke down a few miles after collecting it.

Will have a look at the business parking, though think it was about £50 for about 30 hours! I would expect my cars own security guard for that!

£30 is fine, which is the NCP. Was wondering if anyone had experiences of that car park or whether its really worth shelling out for the other airport car parks.

The NCP is a park yourself type, so at least I don't have to worry about someone else driving my car.

As for petrol, I'll be using the Exige - so 40+ mpg! cool

You get what you pay for :-)
Do you though? £50 to leave a car somewhere for a day?

It was £60 in the short stay car park at Leeds for just over 24 hours a few months back. My colleague from Yorkshire almost fainted on the spot.
This is probably my major issue... I'm from Yorkshire!

I don't mind spending money, I don't like paying owt for nowt!!! £60 is ridiculous for somewhere up north! I expect 'darn sarth' to be a bit more expensive. At the best of times I struggle to come to terms with spending anything above a fiver to park up for a day! I'd rather walk an extra mile than pay more!

I've mastered the art of getting in and out without needing to open the doors too much. My work colleagues thought it would be funny to park really close to my car!

If I were taking the 355 or Mondial then I'd probably pay the £70 eek for the Pod. So has no one ever used the NCP then?
