Hi all,
I am due to change my car in Sept (currently have an A45) and I am looking for something still reasonably quick but a little bigger and a little less bumpy. I have been looking at all different kinds as I keep changing my mind. I won't go into the other car choices here as I have a specific question regarding 3 Maserati choices.

I have been looking at the GT, Quattroporte and the newer Ghibli. On paper the petrol Ghibli is quicker that both the QP and the GT whilst averaging about 10mpg greater than both. I know the tech will be newer (better) in the Ghibli but does anyone have any experience of these cars who may be able to shed some subjective light on the best choice. Base requirements are 4 seats, reasonable boot, not too fussed about fuel (or I could look at the diesel Ghibli)? I suspect the GT and QP could have much much larger servicing bills with the Ferrari sourced 4.7l to look after. Given the above what would you choose? Budget around £40K.

Cheers

Hi thanks for the reply. I realise they are very different. I've had the A45 2 years now and I now actually would like something different. A lot of miles are on the motorways between Brighton/Lincoln/Leicester and Yorkshire so size not too much of an issue. I would like to be able to get it into a multistory car park though!

8-10 MPG is a bit thirsty mind you.
