After a fair bit of design work and imagination i came up with a vision that my car designer and friend Matteo Giles helped put together with Porsche Reading, Topaz Detailing and Yiannimiza helped put together. its finally finished and i will hopefully pick it up tomorrow unless the sun is shining and i want to use the 918 with the roof off. Im sure not to everyone's tastes but i find it brilliant, hilarious and just alot of fun. mke your own opinion!

Lovely car but why would you put your name all over it ? Surely, its ostentatious enough to begin with ?
my name is no where on it whatsoever. if you are referring to "WopP1" you should probably know Woppum is not my real name and the only people that have heard of it are people on forums or IG. I find it funny, you shouldn't be taking a few stickers so seriously....

Totally understand the views on the chrome. I was not convinced either until I saw the car in the carbon. I think it looks a world better now.

Chaps you really need to chill beans. 1. They are stickers and peel off 2. I wasn't sure about the chrome until I went through with it. The end result is just the most stunning looking thing I have ever seen on the road.not met a person that hasn't loved it in the carbon. However each to their own. I won't loose any sleep about the comments or care while I'm ragging it about road and track. Besides I have a black 918 for when I want to be subtle ! wink

RS is all painted. Bought the car white and my friend and car designer brought it to life. The boys at Porache reading did all the work. Worked so well we did the P1 too. The acents are subtle but they go perfectly with the ball polished wheels and makes how it came originally look somewhat plain! I love it batst crazy but much more tasteful than say an aventador and still has more go than show! Car feels as small as a 991, in race mode it darts around like a mad thing. Real race car for the road. No traction control, 1000bhp and trofeo's mean it's a hell of a lot of fun!

Wouldn't take WopP1 too seriously chaps it's a bit of fun, just like the car! It's my forum and IG name. No marketing. The name means nothing just on line cyber persona. Chill beans. Fun for track days and meets.

Have you considered moving over to everyone's favourite, the Michelin Cup 2's ?

PS Now I have looked at the P1 more and more getting a soft spot for what you have done, as you say it's still rather less flashy than a lambo. Bet it looks bonkers in the flesh.

To be honest tthe tropheo's seem fine, you just have to respect the car. Tropheo's are defiantly more hardcore than cup2, but then the p1 is also under tyred so my guess is on track at least it needs them!

I'm just here to talk about cars. Lots of assumptions about what I do I'm sure but nothing is public knowledge as I've never discussed it on an open forum like this and I would personally like to keep it that way. No offence.

Out of interest what made you change the colour now rather then speccing it in the first place or are custom colours not available on Porsche? Does look amazing though.
Good question.

Firstly I didn't like any of the stock colours, in fact when I went though all of the back dated Porsche colours all were flat and old fashioned paints - Mclaren and lambo have really moved the paint game on and I wanted better. As I'm good friends with a world class car designer I put the idea of doing a one off to him and we both got excited by the idea. I didn't like the plastics or the stickers on the standard car, to my eyes they looked cheap. We could do better. The base colour is volcano orange, the silver and blacks used on the stripe and livery are both really lovely pearly metallics and all the plastics and window frames are matching black metallic and ppf'd. Ball polished wheels like the P1 to fin it off. A car that can sit next to my Speciale and look it's worth rather than half its price.

Secondly reading look after my 918 and other Porsches and I know their capabilities. They were as excited about the project as us. Once I knew what I wanted and could do Ito pressed the button straight away. I will never look back.

Whats weirder is the fact that you seem to think that human curiosity is something to be derided.

I'm ignoring the comments about what a Woppum is and have no use for negativity. Happy to talk and answer questions about the cars as much as you want though. I'm as passionate as you get and use them at every oppertunity.

That's entirely proper, I'm not sure what the guy above's boner on it is for or what that quoted pic was for BUT what you have posted here and elsewhere (as woppum) allows identification of your real name and job. I don't think you can do much about that now but just think you should be aware.
It can allow whatever it wants. I won't be any party of it so if it's really of interest it can stay speculation. A sad state of affairs if you ask me on a car forum. I stupidly thought that was what we were here to discuss. Happy to chat all things cars but nothing personal.
