650S to 570S straight chop.
Discussion
What do you think?
I could order a highly specced 570S (gorgeous in white!) and chop in my 650S Spider without spending a penny.
Pros:
Latest model.
Brand new car.
Easily enough performance for just about anywhere I could ever drive.
Lovely looking thing (650S is a bit iffy).
Cons:
No open top driving.
No Aero - I love that thing bouncing about in the rear view mirror!
Not the same completely insane performance (even if I rarely use it!).
Not the same exclusivity (they'll sell bucket loads of 570S's, it'll be as common as muck)
Will the 650S do a RamboLambo and suddenly be worth the price of a small diamond mine in a few years?
With McLaren reportedly planning 17 new models in the next 5 years will the 570S become the "Go to car"?
Should I wait for a Spider 570S or just hang on for the 650S replacement (720?) and throw in the extra few quid?
