f430 running costs?? clutch life etc
Discussion
good info, cheers for the replies folks.looking at cars with 10-15000 miles on so the clutch info is valuable.i feel i will go manual instead of flappy so i assume this extends clutch life??service costs don't seem too different to my current aston v8 and past worries about cambelts on a 360 are obviously void now as well!
one thing i have noticed is lots of cars have had a surprisingly(to me at least) high number of owners over relatively short periods of time.you must all get bored quite quickly!
one final question, how do you see residuals on a percentile basis over the next few years?i've lost 50 grand in 4 years from new in the aston and could do with some good news on this front!
thanks again

Not something to be worried about, these cars change hands often, especially if you're looking at the 05/06 models, at that point in time there would have been a big waiting list and lots of people would buy and sell to make a quick buck, or buy and sell after running for a short while not losing any money.
When I got My 56 plate 430 it was 3 years old had 5 owners before me and had only covered 6k miles. Just buy on history and condition and you'll be fine.
John.

My 06 430 went in for annual service recently with 12k miles on it. I'd bought it 8 months earlier with 8K miles. Needed 2 new exhaust manifolds and new wisbones - OUCH!...was pleased I'd bought from Main Dealer with 2 year warranty! Manifolds not a warranty issue but were done 100% on goodwill basis..which was nice.
christ, that sounds expensive! I will definately be asking for service reports about themGassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
