Hi all. this is the only thread now for the Beaulieu Meet.
So Please read through and all should become clear.

I am arranging an all marques meet to visit the wonderful Beaulieu Estate on the 24th february.
All those taking part will be allowed to park inside the grounds, the parking will be in the arena which is very close to the Museum. The entrance fee has also been reduced from £20pp to £12pp and £7 for children, this is for the Museum, the Palace House and the Abbey.

I have decided to call this event, "The Beaulieu Pride and Joy" as it doesn't matter if your car is a cheap run about or a massively expensive hyper car, "If You Love IT, Then Bring IT".

I would like this to be a meet where you can see "peoples cars" but also meet "car people".

Auto Glym are also going to be there to give advice on making your car shine, and hopefully giving a demonstration on one lucky persons car.
I will also be having a "Cup" presented to the "Best Presented" Car (so anybody has the chance of winning)and there will be 2nd and 3rd prizes as well being donated by Auto Glym. Beaulieu have kindly donated a ride in one of their own cars and I have managed to get some other great gifts donated, including a Supercar Experience, that will be raffled off to raise money for the Hampshire Air Ambulance service.

To take part, please you put your name on the main calendar (for the car although the entry price is per person) as the museum is still open to the general public, if you have a friend that wants to bring their car, then you can vouch for them, so long as you are booked in but can you please edit the calendar so I can keep an eye on numbers.

Update 15/2/13
Hi all
Here is an update if you have not already seen this:
Attending now are.
Racing Green with their FFF Tuscan, and some other cars and hopefully a 1969 Tuscan.
Bentley Hampshire with some exquisite cars.
Meridien Modena( Ferrari and Maserati).
Brookspeed International Motorsport with 5 or 6 of their race cars including A championship winning Porsche and a Ferrari.
Auto Glym will hopefully be giving a polishing domonstration.
A Rep from Snap On tools( with van)
and Tommy Wareham of SuperVettura will be bringing a Koenigsegg and a friend with a Zonda(weather permitting)

We are also holding a raffle on behalf of the Hampshire and IOW Air Ambulance
The raffle will not be available to the general public and we have got wristbands for us all to be able to buy tickets and also spot other members around the estate
Raffle Prizes are now;
A ride in one of Beaulieu's own vehicles (10 mile trip in their Blower Bentley) Plus a family ticket
2x family tickets for their Supercar Weekend
A supercar Driving experience, with a passenger ride
A years subscription to EVO Magazine
A years subscription to Octane Magazine
2 tickets to A BTCC event at Thruxton
3 "T" Shirts from PistonHeads
A Gearbox gifts Umbrella
A family ticket(2x adult +2x children) to the Hawk Conservency Trust in Andover
A fruit hamper (a nice one)
2x Endurance Race team tickets for the Race Centre

We are also holding a Junior Raffle with the following prizes

Sweets
£50 Experience gift voucher with Experience Days
Top Gear Power Lap Scalextric set

Auto Glym are donating £45, £30 and £15 valeting sets for the " Best Presented" Cars

And if this is not enough,
We have managed to get the latest Mi Witness HD In Vehicle Camera System
Donated by TomTom and valued at £249.99.

Also we will be awarding a Cup and 2 runners up prizes to the "Best Presented" cars, being donated by Auto glym

As mentioned before there are going to be 2 meeting points.
1 at lyndhurst and the other at Rowhams services on the west bound M27
Jamie will be at Lyndhurst from about 8am and we have got a local cafe to sell tea, coffee and bacon rolls etc in the car park and Tommy Wareham and his friend will be meeting with their Koeniggsegg and Zonda. We will leaving for Beaulieu at about 9:30am
At Rowhams services we have arranged for Dave (speculatore) to meet in his DB9 from 8:30am and will be leaving at 9:20 am

Now the bad news!
Unfortunately Beaulieu have today informed us that a maximum of 42 cars will be allowed for photos at the Palace House.
We have tried to get more, but have been told that it is already extremely rare that any photos can be taken at the Palace ( even a club that has been going for 52 years have not been able to do this) and that they had not realized the numbers that would be involved when I booked this.
This will have to be a first come first served basis.
The first 42 to respond will be the lucky few
I am so very sorry but this is what Beaulieu want and is beyond my control

Jamie and I are staying in Lyndhurst on the Saturday night so if anyone fancies meeting for a beer and a chat please let us know, it would be great to meet up
If I receive any more news or info I will let you all know

I hope you all have a good drive down in your various convoys and will see you all there. Now all we need now is the Sun!

Shelly

Hi Andy thanks for starting the list, did not know how to do it so that you only just have to add your name. I went there last summer and really enjoyed it. Lots to do for everyone but the thought of driving our TVR in the grounds and the nice photos i hope to take is already giving me a buzz. bounce I so hope we get a good turn out.

Hi if you look at the map of beaulieu grounds. I was told we will be parked where it shows the vet bus, number 16 right opp the museum, so i think that it could be the same route like the bus as Tom from beaulieu said we would be able to get nice pictures of our cars by the house. I will call him tomorrow to confirm and update tomorrow

He even said if lots of cars come he would arrange parking on the grass but that would only be the case if it got to be over 1000 cars. He said that there is no max number, more the merrier. smile

Hi thanks Ben, they were nice words to see after coming in from a 12 hour night shift. Although it would be great to have 1000 cars, I just meant that no ones pride and joy would be on the grass. Unless it goes global laugh

An Update i have spoken to Tom from Beaulieu and if you get up a map of Beaulieu as stated before we will be parked by the vet bus. No 16. We will be able to take our cars, which is normally not allowed, to go right up to the house, no 14 on the map in small groups of 8 to 10 cars giving us great photo shots. I am also, with Tom organising a full parade to take us from Beaulieu along to Bucklers Hard.

I am trying to sort out something else for the day which i will update you on in the next few days.
if i can pull it off scratchchin Although, i hope that you think that it already sounds like a good day.

Spread the word and i hope to see your names on the list. If anyone can look back at the threads and add any names to the lists for me that have said they may attend as i have prev said i do not know how to.

Thanks alot
Shelly
