PH May South East Gathering - 20/05/13

After our initial trial run at the venue & the feedback given I've now made some adjustments! (Pleased to hear people really liked it!)
I've booked out the venue's Tudor Hall facility (Pictures to follow at a later date)...What this means for those dining is that there is no delays like last time, we have our own waiting staff, bar staff, bar area and full use of the decking for us. What it also means is we will no longer have instances of food being ready but the folk who have ordered being outside meandering around (I had the same temptation trust me).

6:00pm until when everyone finally buggers off (Although the restaurant closes at 9pm)

It's a really gorgeous venue! Very picturesque, very quaint and luxurious inside! Parking for well north of 150-175+ vehicles...& essentially we can make it our own for the evening once I mentioned our projected numbers. The road is ideally suited for some sedate flybys as well to properly listen to the V8's we had at the last one!

Sits LESS than 10 min south of Junction 6 of the M25!
Outside is a raised deck area with picnic tables so we can all eat out there, inside people can have a very nice sit down meal! Beautiful surroundings indoors and catering for car gatherings is something the folks there are quite used to doing.

To echo comments already made, let's keep it sensible We've got other road users who do bimble along there but also residents/farms not far along.
Silly speed flyby's along the entrance to the venue are not encouraged, I've seen too many close call's over the years at other meets to know that if you do that, you're asking for trouble, so let's behave Ultimately we don't want to draw attention of the authorities as well as provide headaches to the venue about them hosting us again due to people complaining about excessive noise/silly driving (Hence why the SLS only made one trip out, and in the opposite direction to the nearby residents & when the road was quieter).
Regardless of all the above, great meet, plenty of new faces too. Favourite's for me were the 2 Cobra's, love them to bits & the VXR8's! Awesome V8's all of them!
Next one's thread shall be going up in the coming days, stay tuned
