Pendragon's Car Cafe 03/05

It's like a Sunday Service, on a Saturday. And in Nottingham!

If there's one complaint PH receives about Sunday Services (there are probably a few, but one sticks out), it's that they're all at very southern locations. Well now there's something very similar to an SS being laid on this Saturday by the Pendragon retail group. And yes, we know Nottingham is the Midlands but it's a start, right?

Here's what you need to know: Car Cafe at Pendragon's HQ is free to attend and already has the involvement of a few local car clubs. There will be cars on show from its dealer network plus a free bacon roll and tea or coffee for everyone along. Got your attention now? Pendragon are keen to get a few PHers along for a few more interesting cars and characters, basically. Just like a Sunday Service. Did we mention the free breakfast?

So it's this Saturday May 3 at Neway House, Little Oak Drive, Annesley, Nottingham, NG15 0DR. The morning kicks off at 8:30 and finishes at 10:30 so you'll be away early for any other weekend obligations.

If you would like to go along to Car Cafe, drop Owen at Pendragon an email to add your name to the list. His email is owen.gill@pendragon.uk.com. The more the merrier!

That's relatively local to me...nice to have something in the midlands.

That brings back memories I remember running a 10k race at Kodak back in 1989 to celebrate their 10th anniversary I think it was, my dad started working at Kodak in 1981...Kodak seems a distant memory now!

Small world... my parents ran the post office & stores on Forest Road (Annesley Woodhouse) in the 1990's. I used to walk my dog where the new (ish) office park is now. Eeeeh, it all used to be trees and fields in my day!

If I can, I'll come along as I've never been to a PH meet before - I'll bring my Amazon so there will be at least one classic there. driving
Agree it is a small world! Plus it is nice to have a meet happening around the Notts area for a change.
