IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please be aware that Surrey Police's Helicopter & their Dog Unit is based AT THE AERODROME so misbehaving will not do the event any favours & as a result there will be a police presence on the day on exit for those that feel inclined. Remember we're on private land here, not on the public road wink
List entry system - If the username is not on the list, you're not coming in. What I'm trying to discourage is cross-posting to other forums I'm afraid. It still happens! There were numerous people arriving who when asked what number on the list they are replied with "What list?!" OR "My mates inside & he said to come down!"
So no more "My mate with xxxxxxx is inside & said to come down" folks (The cross posting coming into play there). If you do want to bring someone else along in another car, please message me.

6:00pm until when everyone finally buggers off (Although the restaurant closes at 9pm)

The aerodrome sits just a few miles north of Gatwick. Best route to get to there - Take the A22 junction of the M25 & follow the Sat Nav from there! If you take the Reigate junction (Jct 8) you WILL get stuck in traffic. Godstone @ Jct 6 WILL fair better in comparison.
We have a cafe which serves great reasonably priced food/drink/ice creams - Picnic tables outside to sit & chat as well as plenty of seating indoors.
Helicopter Flights - They're happening again! The weather kept them away last time unfortunately
People will be able to head up in a helicopter for a 12-15min flight around the Surrey countryside for the sum of £55.00 per person in one of EBG Helicopters EC120's...Payment can be made on the day via credit/debit card as there will be a mobile terminal there to take payment. Here's a short video of the helicopters that will be there to take people up into the air...As I say, something a little different & ideal for those bringing wives/girlfriends/kids & wanting to treat them to something they would NEVER expect when being dragged to a car meet!)

Jaguar have also announced they shall be present on the day with 3 cars to allow PH'ers to test-drive - I can confirm that there will be an F-Type (Coupe or Convertible, or both plus either an XFR or XKR) to try...
However please make sure you bring your driving license regardless of whether you're aiming to have a test-drive from BMW OR Jaguar or you will be refused.

Thanks to all that came along...So many fantastic cars to admire, the variation was spectacular & it really made it to be one of the most eclectic meets to date.
With the entrance system in place we now no longer receive random cars that aren't on the list...It has brought about a new trend though, folks signing up 1-7 days before the event (as the word about the meet spreads), no previous posting history, in some cases their 1st post is to add their name to the list...The obvious give aways are the "exits" from the venue.
Remember guys as you enter/leave the aerodrome you ARE seen on CCTV doing EVERYTHING that you do when you leave...I've seen the footage. So misbehave at your own risk & realise any "funny business" on exit, you're doing it on the doorstep of a police dog unit based at the aerodrome, & Surrey polices helicopter base
It is entirely the Aerodrome managements prerogative & judgement if they pass on the footage to the Police.
The regulars know the score with regards to the meet but this message is to the new folk who've recently attended, as much as we love the cars can I ask you behave for everyones elses benefit & more importantly the events future

Although the police might take a dim view of the manner of driving, I suspect the reality for Umair as organiser is that more of an issue is that he's reliant on the continued goodwill of the Aerodrome management, and hence also the continuing goodwill of other Aerodrome users including the police, to be allowed to continue using it as a venue.Looking forward to next month
My business is one of the tenants at the aerodrome so we get alot of leeway as it is...But in order to gain "special access" to the really fun parts that will take the meet to a new level (Mini circuit, drag strip & some fantastic planes/helicopters all in touching distance) is dependant on tbe behaviour of the masses
