Vauxhall Sunday Service 20/07

Join us at the Vauxhall Heritage Centre

After a hectic few weeks at Le Mans, N24, Goodwood and Le Mans (Classic) we're very pleased to announce the summer motoring fun continues with another date for your calendar. This time we'll descend on glorious Luton for another visit to Vauxhall HQ on Sunday July 20.

Non-Griffin badged cars welcome too!
Non-Griffin badged cars welcome too!
Once again we've been asked back to the Vauxhall Heritage Centre to see a cracking line-up with plenty of Vauxhall metal for you to admire, from some of the latest to some of the oldest. If you haven't been before, the Vauxhall Heritage Centre is certainly a very interesting place to look around, with lots of historic, modern and iconic cars to see.

To claim your spot as one of the 500, sign up here.

We’ll be based around their excellent Heritage Centre situated in the shadows of Vauxhall's UK HQ, and the usual supply of breakfast items to provide the sustenance needed for an early start will be on hand. As per usual, the gates will open at 0900h and will close at 1300h. Entrance is free, so all you need to worry about is bringing enough cash to buy a spot of breakfast.

Vauxhall HQ can be found at the following address: Griffin House, Osborne Road, Luton. LU1 3YT.

Please note that you will need to pass Griffin House before turning right at the T-junction to enter the Sunday Service car park from Park Street (20mph limit, so be careful). Signposts will guide you from Griffin House, but it is literally around the corner from the main entrance.

Sign up here.

A massive thanks to Vauxhall.

See you there.

Hoping to pop along, would like to track down someone with a Lotus Carlton who can pop along to my wedding for a couple hours in September. Keep meaning to put up a post, but would rather ask people in person smile
I know at least two that are coming and we have another in the Heritage Centre aswell

Is there any EV charging points on site? Borrowing a Leaf for the weekend and free miles would be good! (and I wont make it back if I don't get a bit of charge!)

I've only just got the car and It doesn't seem to have the 'monster' lead so I'll bring the M135i, 70 miles each way so isn't going to work.

Cheers to all that attended was a great day
Even weather held up which was fantastic
Mega range of cars as mentioned above was very much like Old Skool Pistonheads meet.
The Owners wanted to stand next to their cars and happily talk about them to others. ( Something that is missing over that last few years)
Cheers again to all that made and effort and comments really showed those that didnt attend for whatever reasons what the missed.
Cheers to Rez ( PH) for the T Shirts and Stickers nice touch)

Heres some of our Official Photos for you too.
