Thanks for the information very useful. We are driving down, aiming to be in Brescia for the day of departure, as the first stage is through the night will not be following. We have booked a hotel in Parma to coincide with the Saturday night stopover so will take in other places of interest on the Friday. Let me know if you ever mange to enter.

We are staying at the Starhotels Du Parc on the Saturday night, and a different hotel the Friday and Sunday, due to booking cockup, meeting a friend of mine who is flying into Milan and driving down, think he is staying there a couple of nights. We are now setting about the route home, was intending going along the coast to France and up but due to the Monaco GP the weekend after everything is prety booked or expensive.

We're driving down to Sirmoine for the start and then a couple of days before travel to Parma and staying at the Astoria on Via Trento which is in the centre but has a car park on the Saturday. Should then get to see the cars and the following crowd on a number of occasions fitting in the Ferrari museum in Marenello on the way down.

I am then travelling down to Rome for four days so that Mrs W can remain happy before travelling back up the following Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I have done that drive before so have a place to stay with parking just outside the Centre but near the underground.

Will be in the Z4 Coupe so looking forward to it.

What will you be driving and I will look out for you.
