I've registered and been promised (OK indicated I'm in the running for) a demonstration run.

Last year was heavily effected by rain so here's hoping.

One of the best organised events I go to:

It's free if you show your car (Driver and passenger)
Your car is roped off within minutes of arrival
Free tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes and biscuits in a drivers marquee.
Chance to show off on the demo strip
Free access to the museum etc.

Anyone else going? Give Andy a shout at Beaulieu ( andy.ollerenshaw@beaulieu.co.uk ) if you fancy it.

I got an invite and a request to RSVP (which I did). But haven't heard anything back.
I emailed Andy as my invite got lost in the post. To my knowledge nothing's been sent out yet.

Yes car pass and wrist bands arrived yesterday.

Looks like I'm not doing a demo run after all. Can't say I'm bothered though.

Are we convoying down?
If the "usual" convoy doesn't appear I'll meet you just off the A34 and do a 2 car convoy.

More the merrier. We could meet at the M40 junction 10 (Brackley) services and head down the A34 to meet up with Lez if you like?

I bet those Countach wheels of yours throw up some rocks though eh 8-)
Let's hope the usual convoy happens (and we get an invite) the countach would fit in well there!

I'm hoping to get tickets, if they arrive I could join you on A34 at Tothill just South of Newbury thumbup
If the tickets/passes don't arrive soon drop Andy a line

Looking at your garage Andy will have definitely been interested in you and your car. "Stuff" gets lost and goes missing.

to be fair to Andy he probably only got the forms today smile
I'd still probably back it up with an email. I think I only sent a form once, since then I've just emailed him. I just don't trust the post any more (Three birthday cards to not just the wrong house but the wrong street too!)

Plan A to meet the 'usual" convoy at Tot Hill too. They're looking a little later, just trying to synchronize timings, let you know ASAP.
Last year they weren't too upset that we weren't exactly on time.

Later would be popular thumbup
Any news on the 'usual' convoy's timings?

tickets have arrived thumbup

Craig has said that the HR Owen convoy should be at Tot Hill 9-9:15 for those not going from the start. I will now try to start from Craig's place, but that does mean an earlier start.

Im going, not sure why my invite includes a piece of paper with a very large "1985" on it, as its from 1988, but if that's the limit of the snafu should be a good day. like you don't think I'm down for a demo run, but minds can be changed by a sweet exhaust!
Im coming down from the midlands, might be able to meet up...
Jonathan: Sent you a couple of PM's. Did you get them? If not and you're in touch with Tim, he usually gets mine and I've sent him one too. (Tim?)

there were a number of gopros recording the trip, if anyone (such as the chap in Aston martin) has footage of my countach, can they drop me a line?
Me too please (with or without my little yellow pocket rocket)
