Due to the huge success of our debut "Icons by the Lake" Supercar Coffee morning, we have confirmed dates for the next 12 months.

We have been given the opportunity to have exclusive use of a large part of the North Car Park @ Virginia Water Lake, GU25 4QF.

We are having to limit the Supercar attendance to 300 cars, and our own display area will be clearly coned off for our use. This meet is purely an informal, friendly, safe static meet. No dangerous driving will be tolerated. Children & pets DO use the facility & WILL be in the car park.

This is a Supercar/Hypercar meet, therefore we request that modified Fiesta's don't try to enter the car park. We can NOT over attend, we MUST remain in our dedicated area allowing for the remaining half to be used by the public who are visiting the lake. People attending in non-Supercars & taking spaces up in the public side will simply lead to the events being cancelled very quickly.

The aim is for all Supercars to have ample space for imaginative parking, ideal for people wanting to have a good look at the cars, this will also allow for brilliant photos etc, there will be no dog walkers cars sitting between our F40's & GT3's.

Please do pop your name & car down, we really would like some serious metal in attendance.

We already have some big cars confirmed, a P1 GTR for example, so it shouldn't take too long to gather momentum.

The event does have its own FB & Insta presence.

Guys, really is no snobbery about it.

We are trying to arrange get togethers for Supercar owners, not VW Golf G60's, not Subaru Impreza's, not Ford F150's.....

The only thing we are trying to avoid is the owners not allowing us back, because us & our visitors are taking over the whole car park, therefore leaving no room for the lake users (who DO & WILL complain), that simple.

Obviously these events will create a bit of a buzz, and people will be a bit curious & want to see, but remembering we are trying to organise cars & coffee style meets for Supercar owners.

Everybody is free to turn up & park in the public side, of course they are. But....... If we end up taking over the car park, we will not be asked back again.

Hope that makes it clearer 👍🏻

I attended this event at the beginning of the year, which I brought along my Bmw Csl. I very much enjoyed the event and I was looking forward to future events here so I could bring my other cars, like I do at Wilton house wake up. After reading some of the rules I find it quite inconceivable that people that have nice cars but not super cars are not allowed to park in the same area. I thought it was all about talking to people and looking at different cars like we do at Wilton house. I don't agree with this stupid rule at all and will not be attending any of the future events that this man has organised, I have my own collection of cars, which have been to many events this year and I am very happy to let anyone park their Fiesta next to my P1 and enjoy the day. I find it very hard to believe someone has allowed this to happen and spoil a good day for everybody.
Thanks for your comments & thoughts. It is totally understandable that there will be people who do not wish to attend, as said before what we are trying to create here is a gathering of Super & HyperCars, there are plenty of other meets for ALL other Marques of cars.

We held our 1st meet on the 14th August so it certainly wasn't ours you attended.

We have had nothing but great feedback, even from many people such as local's & local businesses etc who got involved.

Getting the format & entries spot on will not happen overnight, these things take time. Talking of Wilton, when I arranged my convoy to the last Classics & Supercar event with Will personally, he had to give the ok & make the final decision on which could could join & exhibit on the lawns, there was no snobbery intended, BUT the event was designed for Classics & Supercars, really that simple.

Ferrari are holding an event at Silverstone over the next couple of days, I wouldn't dare take my Porsche, but the 575m...... Of course!

This thread was purely meant as an additional way to let people know where & when, in all honesty it is not needed since we already have 300 + Supercars confirmed, from private individuals up to manufacturers themselves, so we believe there was clearly a call & demand for these events.

Again, apologies for anyone who feels that this is snobbery, really not intended. I may see you at other meets in other cars.

Because we wanted people who use PH who have these cars but perhaps do not use social media to be able to attend.

At the time of starting the thread, we had just announced the next date, so we hadn't filled our spaces, now we have.

Those of you who I have spoken to personally &/or those of you that have registered using social media or the website, I look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks 👍🏻

why, did you post in here then ?! (publicity) if you already have 300+ cars ? and why post here at all if you're worried about the wrong cars / too many people turning up !?

Just a final note from me on this PH thread.

1) Apologies if the fiesta comment rubbed anyone up the wrong way, not intentional, BUT we are trying to organise a regular, free, safe, fun, SUPERCAR event.

2) As much as a certain contributor on here seems to think he knows the Crown, he does NOT. Busy parking meters does NOT mean that they will not listen to the many & various public complaints from people who genuinely want to walk their dogs around the lake & enjoy the rest of the park. IF on Sunday my request is not listened to, and IF we end up taking over the whole car park, there WILL be complaints from "Doris" because she can't park her car to enjoy the scenery. Really that simple.

3) I can only apologise for the inconsistency in the registration of cars. I was not personally responsible for the website registrations, or indeed the replies that followed. The person involved is no longer involved. All I can say is.... Sunday will very much be a test, if things need to change, then they will be. I will say this though...... It will be a huge shame if venues need to change, charges need to be applied, stricter rules & numbers need to be applied to etc etc..... It's supposed to be a FUN, FREE, SOCIAL event.

4) For those that have added to the list of cars with the sole purpose of having a laugh, or proving a point..... Great. Fine. Turn up. You're all welcome. BUT..... I have asked PH to remove the thread, and I did this as soon as I had confirmation that we had 300 cars coming. The mods chose to leave it running, not me. I find it a real shame that PH is just full of keyboard warriors. We will not be putting any further info, photos, dates, experiences on PH. it has ONLY been this thread that has had a negative response. Says something considering the sheer amount of people & organisations that attend. We not only have dealers, sales teams & restoration specialists but factories themselves attending!

As said, this is my last post on here.

I thank all of you who have ignored the negativity on here & have had the sense to contact me directly. I hope those PH members who are coming truly have a great morning.
