Hi all,

3 friends and I are going to do a road trip in October.

The goal is to travel across Europe in 6 days and take in as many places and car related themes as possible.

We intend to fly into Munich and out of Paris as this works out to be the cheapest route for tickets and car hire.

I am on my own personal goal to see Ferrari's and my mate Dan wants Porsche.

So far it looks like this:

Day 1 - Arrive in Munich / Motorworld / Stay the night

Day 2 - Porsche / Mercedes / Motorworld / Stay the night

Day 3 - Nürburgring Museum / Michael Schumacher/Motorworld / Classic Remise / Stay the night

Day 4 - Metropole Druten / Louwman / Amsterdam / Stay the night

Day 5 - Musee Automobile / Paris / Stay the night

Day 6 - Le Mans Musee / Paris / Home

In that am I missing anything that I should go and see which may include roads, locations, restaurants, museums etc...

I have built it quite tight but still have space to do things. It can not be anymore than 6 days due to holidays and children.

Do you mean Cite de l'automobile in Mulhouse ? ..that's a long way from Amsterdam , there is Autoworld in Brussels which is very good too , it even has free parking .

Obvious answer too is that you are not going to see many Ferraris , there are some in Louwman and Mulhouse .
You will see a lot of Bugattis in Mulhouse museum ,formerly the Schlumpf collection .

Munich is the home of BMW ,museum is worth it .
Yeah, that is the one. Google maps recons it to be about a 4 hour ish drive hence the less active 5th day.

I did look at Autoworld but wasn't sure if it would be worth it? I can appreciate classics and engineering but none of us our really bothered about generic cars from the 60s-90s and that is what the images looked like?

I have been to BMW before but regrettably it isn't open on Mondays.
