Bristol Beers & Pie

Hi guys,

Whilst discussing the sham that is Bristol City Council on another thread, it has become evident there are a few PHers in the area. Accordingly a few of us have discussed the possibility of a beer and nosh session on the outskirts of northern Bristol (Ringroadish).

Personally I would prefer a weekday evening, 7.30 kick off, anyone else up for a few beers/cokes and grub bag? have suggestions for a suitable venue?

What about Wednesday 5th February? At the pub in Winterbourne where the landlord is a petrol head. Will we need to book a table?

The last England game I missed attending an ABD meeting. This game will be missed as I will be at Bruntingthorpe trying to crack 195mph with a load of porsche nuts and esteemed PHers. Do you want me to swing by your house at about 6.50am saturday morning.

PS - Look out for a tall git with a highly developed waisteline and a pistonheads brolly even though it's not raining. Will also be wearing a green musto coat.

Not a problem guys, there is always next time. As it was five PHers attended with appropriate metal in the carpark.

We'll do another evening when the weather gets better and the evenings are lighter and warmer. Definitely more agreeable to kicking tyres in the car park than the zero degrees we had last night.
