Agreed Greg, a lot of those speed were hit during the wet period also!

Painey, thats the quickest for a griff 500 so far and your speedo readings concur with previous griff 500 readings at around 160.

Daz, what can I say, you held on to that crown damn well! It took some pretty major modifications to wrench it from you it has to be said. Glad to see you still managed to whup the Murci!

Roll on the next one gentlemen!

Nice set of results, thank you for listing them craig!

Just wondering how many runs did the RUF do?

all the best

over 20 Adam, I think 23, quite a few. i'm sure the average speed on your trip computer would have made interesting reading!

Interestingly, the VX220 boys who assured me they would take it "easy" on the way out, posted between 117 and 130mph!

Other notable speeds include the lovely Emma who went for a leisurly pottle in the BoxsterS and went through the traps at I believe 160mph.

A Certain Nissan primera at 109, a BMW 850 at 148 and a certain I quote, "loud sounding ferrari with a lairy stripe at 167mph"

Did Nick really hit 179 as well?

Yep!

I guess that just shows how much difference there is between the Red Rose and the S!

Also, without wishing to poo-poo Tony's efforts in the Cerbie, I think his 178 may have been one of my runs, as it looked like they got our speeds mixed up when we ran together (I did 178, he did 160something).

Maybe next time....

I'll leave you to sort that out between yourselves but it looks like his 178 run was against a 360

hi guys, due to some of the higher speeds the timing guys missed the odd few cars, also sometimes numbers more visible than others depending on which side you were on. I have no reason to doubt what you saw on the timing boards & will amend accordingly, cheers.
