We're hoping to be at the PistonFest this year, does anybody have any thoughts about what we should do/bring/offer/reveal etc?

We're currently trying to track down something very special to bring to show you all. But if there's something you would like to see then please tell!

Comments below...cheers

in what bring? i.e. a fancy car?

yeah - well we could try and bring a few fancy cars for you all to perve at and flick switches in.

we could try and bring a load of playstations or something like that?

basically we'll try and get anything u suggest - we hope to be able to take official deposits on entries by then as well! and that means there'll be people there to talk to face2face about how to get yourself sponsorship over the next 14 months!

Sorry i'll explain - basically we are coming to promote the PR Photography Tour 2005. Check the thread or the website at www.pr-photography-tour.org and you'll see what it is, a sort of cannonball event across the country for charity.

We'll be at PistonFest this year to explain more about it, hopefully take entries, and to explain how you can get sponsored to do this event (so that your entry is partially covered)!

We are working on something of the F1/Zonda calibur and you'll all find out when we manage to secure something!

let it be heard here and now that there WILL be support crews all over this event (people working for the event to support it and it's entrants) anyone found being agressive, wreckless, or putting anyones life or car in danger will be removed from the event (as the route is given in stages they will not be able to join back - and their names will be struck from the register in all our hotels and stop offs - you will be left STRANDED!) we will have no remorse for people who are at risk of ruining this event!

in terms of wanting cars or people - we need all kinds, the grid will be set up so the slower cars dont have a ferrari up their arse and so that there wont be cars running on their own for the whole event - it does however rely on peoples attitudes!

No one will be the slowest there accept our friends and film crew that are planning to run in a double decker bus!!

45 passionate miles per hour!

indeed, i shall be at the dawn raid, as well as pistonfest, i look forward to seeing everyone and explaining all questions you've got!

there will be more info our soon that explains everything we've got, as well as confirming dates, and prices.

thanks!

and i cant wait for this dawn raid!! 215bhp of FWD madness!!!!

Whilst we're on the subject. I've been considering talking to the board about intrducing a "car must reflect the original profile of the car" rule, they use this in road rallies to politley ban any boy racers.... would this effect anyone?

obviously a 944 LUX to TURBO conversion wouldn't count, and kit cars would be exempt from this. Do you think this is a good idea? Or would it effect some of the people on PH?

(we are reserving the right to refuse entry though )
