I've just brought a Renault trafic 115 on a 2010 plate it's done 28k. The problem is the clutch pedal intermittently drops to the floor? It's not loosing fluid, if I pull it up with my foot when driving its normal.
Bit odd? I spoke to a comercial van/lorry garage and he said they all do it? He's suggested fitting a bungee strap and replace the spring above the pedal !!
Can anyone shed some light on this.
Thanks

Another suggestion they made was to loosen the clutch fluid cap and stick a cable tie to keep it on.
The can has 3 months warranty so I'm at a loss what to do.

It's 250 miles away it was delivered to me. It's gonna be a lot of hassle. As most will know the warranty won't be worthy the paper it's written on.

Like all these things they can't diagnose the fault without dropping the gearbox. I know what your saying.
The reason for the post was to see if the mechanics story about they all do that stands up ph collective

I don't think it's the pedal as it looses pressure by the time I start it in the morning it's at the floor.

It's been suggested to unscrew the fluid cap and tape it on loosley. Ill see how that works out tomorrow.
