1.2 sxi+ 16v twinport vauxhall corsa engine

Can anyone help me please?

I am in desperate need of a whole new engine for my vauxhall corsa 1.2 sxi+ twinport 16v as my last one has seized. I have been looking everywhere for a couple of months and have found nothing and wondered if anyone on here would know where to look. It is 2005 (YC55 NXS)

Hello,

Thank you all for the response. I ended up buying an engine from '247 traders' but they were not reliable and kept messing us around saying they would send it and didn't. So a heads up anyone buying from them. Luckily, we got our money back so I am back to square one.

I will check out some of these places recommended. I do think its worth fixing because the car will still have more value than what I spend. It is a big pain but I know the history of the car. I have a good mechanic who is ready to fit the engine.

Water valve came loose so all water leaked out and the engine wasn't getting any water. Seized up on the motorway suddenly.

To be honest the day before it happened I heard some ticking coming from the engine when I turned the car off. I just put this down to being too hot ( yes I should of checked ) and thought nothing of it. Next day it was ok until I heard the ticking again and suddenly boom lost all power and coasted off the motorway.

In terms of engine I know nothing about them all I seem to find is standard 1.2 corsa engines and not the twinport. I don't really know the differences and most engines I find do not state whether they are the correct one or not. Iv'e had a lot of quotes from brokers saying they have my engine but most of these are unreliable.
