I have been helping my mate Martin tune his 2.5 V6 turbo GTA Renault with a V6 PRV engine since August 2010 when we first ran it on the rollers. It has been a s*d! It obeys Murphy's Law that anything that can go wrong will go wrong, it has fought us from the word go! At long last it is running properly, Friday 9th Jan after yet another all dayer it held together, nothing went bang, nothing fell off, fuelling stayed good and the boost held up. We got 365.3 at wheels with a load to spool up the turbo and 36 losses which gave 401 bhp at engine. Martin built the turbo for 420ish bhp so we are somewhere near. Best to put it into a shed and not start it again I reckon, it's only taken 4 years and 5 months smile

Martin was well pleased with the end results.
We have just finished the after part of a before and after on a more down to earth Alpine. Lee from Renault Alpine Tuning Services (Rats) and Martin have just spent the day with us fine tuning. I attach the three end result graphs. Black line was std engine at around 8 psi made 161.8 at wheels with 36 losses giving 197.8 at engine, rated at 200 engine bhp originally (Factory figure). Red graph with 11 psi boost on new turbo, 199.6 at wheels giving 235.6 at engine. Light blue line 13 psi boost 214.9 at wheels giving 250.9 at engine.
