I have a megasquirt ms2 Ecu that I bought a couple of years back that I'm now trying to wire up but I think it may be screwed . I suspect that the previous owner wired it wrong . If one of the coil or injector outputs was connected to 12v could that damage the board ? It powers up and I can see all the sensors etc but it doesn't see any thing from the crank sensor on either of the vr input lines . Haven't got a scope but there's an ac voltage coming from the crank which uses a factory sensor and trigger wheel ?

Il have to look into that as it's called an mtech v4 and has a surface mounted board that looks nothing like the Ms .

I've tried both ways on both the vr inputs , I had the board out and could see the two little pots which I did think were for adjusting the vr signal . Bit of searching and I've found someone fairly local that can test the unit so hopefully they will be able to sort it

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing for me and electronics so il let the other chap sort it out . With all the other sensors working i might be lucky and get it sorted but I'm still not sure how well the ford coil packs can handle boost if I go over wg spring pressure which is only 7 psi .
