1600 Kent pistons question

This may seem an odd question but can pistons of different sizes be fitted to a motor?

I race with a 1600 Kent engine using 1300 pistons. I have 2 x +30 thou and 2x +40 thou pistons. If the bores are sized correctly, ie all engineering done to spec, can there be any negatives to this arrangement?
