Hi all, I have owned an E92 M3 in the past which I supercharged with an ESS VT600 kit, very quick !!. I have since sold the car on and I bought one the last of the E92 M3s from new. The car is coming to the end of a three year PCP and I think I may keep it as I dont want another PCP over 4 years. To this end I have the modding bug again and am thinking of supercharging this one to around the 600 bhp mark. Looking at options the ESS kit versus the G power kit, similar power gains but G Power is twice the price, why ?? It looks a better kit manufacturing wise but for twice the price ? Any one shed any light on this, are the blowers different, power delivery different or anything else ? The car has BBK, Akrapovic Evolution exhaust so is ready to go, any advice most appreciated.

Well I ordered and had fitted the ESS intercooled VT625 kit. Total cost including fitting was less than £7k so a lot less than evolve or G power kits. The car is making 619 flywheel bhp on a maha dyno and the performance is breathtaking. The kit was fitted by A Reeve performance in Kings Lynn and the owner Aaron liased with ESS to fine tune the final ECU map to get all perameters spot on including the AFR readings. Aaron is now an authorised ESS dealer for the UK. Rod bearings dont need uprating but it is suggested when the car gets to around 35000 it may be a precautionary measure to fit ESS uprated bearings. Driveability is as stock and the power delivery is linear until you open it up... will spin the wheels in 1st 2nd and 3rd, its scary but awesome. Highly recommended !

Awesome performance and faultless power delivery. Have tracked the car numerous times and no problems it leaves most things behind on the straights! ! Value for money and best mod I've done
